This beautiful Italian habotai silk is a deep obsidian black with a foiled finish, giving it a wonderful luster and glossy finish. It is midweight, semi-sheer and incredibly floaty. This habotai silk pleats well and holds its structure effortlessly, creating a stunning voluminous blouse or dress.
This family-run 150-year-old mill specialises in opulent fabrics, making for some of the best European designers. The Biella region is essential to the mills, as they use the natural water that runs off the Swiss Alps to wash and finish their fabric.
