Piper is a glamorous printed silk made in France by one of Europe’s leading mills, that supply the finest brands in the world. Dating back to the 19th century, this family owned mill is positioned next to a river, which they use to this day, to wash and finish their fabrics. With an eye on sustainability, they are also a key employer in the region, supporting many families for generations.
A neutral colour palette, it features a striking print of thick ink brushstrokes contrasted with a cool alabaster. With an iridescent face, it has a subtle luxurious shine. Mid-weight, it is delicate and airy, and has a lovely soft but structured drape. Piper will make a fabulous unlined dress, blouse or skirt that will last in your wardrobe forever. A must have spring/summer shirting, or layer it up for a cool weather winner.
