Mondena is a fabulous Italian double crepe linen with a large check design in black, grey and white (each square measures approx. 60mm in width and length). The black and white yarn are woven similarly to a tightly woven gauze. Mostly opaque, it's beautifully tactile with the crepe weave giving it mechanical stretch. With a soft silhouette, it will hold details that give volume such as pleats and gathers well. Mondena will make into a cute blouse, dress, skirt and sarong.
