This circa 1970s genuine vintage French-made sateen is luxuriously midweight with a broken twill in a soft silver colourway. It has a subtle sheen and is completely opaque. Wrinkle-resistant, the silk threads are incredibly soft and give it natural drape whilst maintaining good structure. A rarity, it has a shine that catches the light effortlessly and would make into a divine pair of trousers with a soft pleat or pintuck, a spring weight vest, blouse, skirt or incredible bag.

From the workroom of New Zealand's oldest tie manufacturer, Parisian, est. 1919, comes a collection of exceptional fabrics from Europe. Making in the heart of Auckland for over 100 years, Parisian continues to apply the tradition of craft and quality honed over four generations. Buy a piece of textile history, with this fine collection of archival fabrics.
