This Italian gabardine is made from luxurious virgin wool in a timeless steel grey colourway. Woven with both steel grey and black yarns, this suiting features a subtle polished finish that shows off the twill weave. Wrinkle-resistant, and with plenty of drape, it'll hold the finer details such as a soft pleat, tuck or gather gracefully. On the lighter side, it's ideal for trans-seasonal pieces that are a timeless addition to your wardrobe such as high-waisted pants, vest, blazer or skirt.
This family-run 150-year-old mill specialises in opulent fabrics, making for some of the best European designers. The Biella region is essential to the mills, as they use the natural water that runs off the Swiss Alps to wash and finish their fabric. Staying true to quality all their wool is sourced exclusively from Australia & New Zealand. Originally hand-designed, Italian selvedges are indicative of authentic tradition and quality.
Virgin wool is taken from a lamb on its very first clip hence it is a softer and finer grade than usual wool.
