Tijuana - Mexican Non-Stretch Denim | Indigo

Tijuana is a Mexican denim of beautiful quality that will last many lifetimes. It is a classic midweight denim in an indigo colourway with a visible twill and washed finish. Using authentic indigo dye (unlike synthetic dyes used by cheaper brands) to ensure the perfect fade over time, it has pastel blue undertones. With structure, it will soften with wash and wear. The ideal denim for beginners right through to experts, it's perfect for jeans, jackets, skirts and everything in between.

Mexico has a rich textile history dating back to at least 1400 BCE, when pre-Hispanic cultures such as the Maya and later the Aztecs used hand-spun cotton and other natural fibres to create garments, as well as to pay tributes and taxes. Textile production evolved over the centuries, and during the Industrial Revolution, new techniques and machinery began to influence traditional methods. Today, Mexican fabrics are celebrated worldwide for their quality, craftsmanship, and distinctive style.

Care: We recommend a cold machine wash. Please wash separately before cutting to allow for any dye run. Because of its natural indigo, this item will wash down.
