Trompe L’œil - Printed Knit | Tan Brocade
*Please note - this is an online exclusive and we cannot offer swatches - get in quick!*
Trompe L’œil - French for "deceiving the eye", this knit looks like denim at first glance. A technique originally used in Renaissance-era paintings, Trompe L’œil is now trending at fashion weeks around the world, employed by designers like Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Moschino, just to name a few. Made from a high-tension, two-way stretch knit, this fabric features printed panels of an abstract denim skirt with a brocade floral throughout. Completely opaque and midweight, it would make high-fashion tops, dresses, skirts and more.
