An incredible lurex silk organza with a glittering silver sheen. Lightweight with heaps of body, this sheer fabric would hold pleats and tucks beautifully and is ideal for garments with a soft structure like boxy blouses or statement sleeves. Made from 14% silver metal, this fabric is known in India as a "living fabric", due to the way the silver oxidises and changes colour over time.

The key ingredients involved in making luxurious Indian silk are these: the unique characteristics of the wild Indian silk, and the centuries-old techniques used in the Indian cottage industry. Individual families weave silk on handlooms, producing some of the finest one-off fabrics you won't find again.
