These Hiroshima-made needles are both flexible and durable, crafted in a region with more than 300 years of needle-making tradition. Strict quality control ensures consistent thickness and length, as well as smooth, easy piercing through fabric. They come in three types: Cross Stitch, Sashiko, and Embroidery (see product images for details).
The packaging is made with Haibara Chiyogami, a traditional patterned paper created by Haibara, a 200-year-old Japanese paper company known for commissioning artists to design original motifs. From their many patterns, three were carefully selected and reprinted in Cohana’s original colours.
These needles pair beautifully with the Haibara Chiyogami Needle Threader, which uses the same Chiyogami design.
