Sourced from iconic Biella in Southern Italy, this luxurious wool suiting is exquisitely made of virgin wool. It has a self-stripe running horizontally along the selvedge, flecked with rose gold lurex, giving it a subtle sheen when it hits the light. Fully opaque, it has a wonderfully soft feel against the skin. With gentle drape and anticrease properties due to its wool fibres, it will make a wonderful unlined tailored blazer, blouse, vest, dress, trousers or skirt.
The Biella region is essential to the mills, as they use the natural water that runs off the Swiss Alps to wash and finish their fabric. Staying true to quality all their wool is sourced exclusively from Australia & New Zealand. Originally hand-designed, Italian selvedges are indicative of authentic tradition and quality.
