Merchant & Mills Trapeze Dress Pattern
A flared dress, just below the knee, with small neat shoulder and shallow rounded neckline. With the option of a button through back or a simple slip over the head. The trapeze is so easy to make and so easy to wear. Make it for the winter in Harris tweed teamed with a chunky brogue, in a bold block print or a washed linen for the summer. It is endlessly versatile.
You have the option of making this 3/4 sleeved, sleeveless and short sleeved, all with a button back opening.
All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.
Skill level; beginner.
Suitable fabrics - Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twill or canvas. A heaver weight cloth with result in a more structured coat.
Notions:
Matching thread.
Interfacing - 0.35M (for the sleeveless version) and 0.25M (for the sleeved version both views).
Buttons - 10 x 20 - 23mm (For the top you will need 6 buttons).

This is our classic signature dress suitable for all seasons in a range of fabrics. Features 3 versions – short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and sleeveless.
You will need 0.35M of fusible interfacing for the sleeveless version and 0.25M of fusible interfacing for the sleeved version both views.
