Isobel is a classic midweight boiled merino wool in an energetic cobalt blue with a beautifully tactile and soft felted finish. With mechanical stretch, it's comfortable to wear with natural give, and has plenty of body and structured drape. Being boiled it is also moisture-wicking, and odour-free. Perfect for stand-out skirts, coats and jackets that require no lining.
Boiled wool is a Drapers' favourite. Due to its production process, it doesn't fray and is excellent for projects with unfinished seams. The perfect, cut & sew fabric for beginners!

Care: We recommend gentle warm hand-wash, but it can be washed in a delicate cold wash cycle with wool wash liquid. Never wash in hot water as this will shock the wool fibres and shrink the fabric.
