Bresso is ultimate classic shirt for men and women! Change it up with a cropped hem or lengthen to make a staple shirt dress. With collar options including classic, mandarin or minimalist neck binding, you can reinvent Bresso every time to create a new, timeless wardrobe essential.

Please note all design options are interchangeable on Drapers Patterns. 

Skill level; Intermediate

Fabric Requirements: 

Dress;

120cm wide – 2.2M to 2.3M

150cm wide - 1.9M to 2.0M

Jumper;

120cm wide – 2.4M to 2.5M

150cm wide - 2M to 2.1M

T-shirt;

120cm wide – 3M to 3.1M

150cm wide - 2.3M to 2.4M

 You will need: 

Fabric(s) of choice.

0.5M of lightweight (non stretch) interfacing.

9 x 16L Buttons

Suggested Fabrics:

Can be made in a wide variety of fabrics. For easiest construction, a mid weight cotton or linen works well for a semi structured fit. Silk and viscose can be used if you would like a shirt with more drape.

Note:

If you are particularly tall or are making for a male, you may want to extend the sleeve length to your desired length. You can always reduce them back down to the original length if needed.
