This is a classic indigo Japanese selvedge denim with a candy pink selvedge. Midweight and non-stretch, it holds good structure that will soften with wash and wear. Pink Selvedge is premium in quality and style, making for an incredible pair of jeans, shorts, skirts or jackets. Short width, the colourful selvedge is created to become a part of the garment, and makes for a fantastic design detail.

This denim was crafted at Kuroki, one of Japan’s premier mills, founded in the 1950s in scenic Ibara City, Okayama. Renowned for its clean, sustainable practices, Kuroki emphasises rich indigo colour and natural cotton handfeel while preserving the surrounding environment.

Composition: 100% Cotton

Stretch: 15% stretch

Width: 88cm wide

Weight: 15oz

Origin: Made in Japan

Care: We recommend washing flat in tub for first wash. Following washes can be done in a cold machine wash. Please wash separately before cutting to allow for any dye run. Do not leave to soak in washing machine or tub as this can cause crease run lines.

Sewing Suggestion: We recommend using our Top stitching threadRivets & Jean Domes and sewing with our heavyweight Size 16 Needles. Check out our full denim range here

Selvedge denim is hard wearing and requires less cleaning than typical cotton fabrics. To preserve the dye, it is recommended to place your garment in a plastic bag in the freezer to kill bacteria and eliminate odour in place of washing.
