Classic Gingham is a historic pattern, reportedly originating in the Netherlands and later popularised by the British weaving in the famous mills of Manchester. It's a versatile wide-width yarn-dyed linen cotton blend with a slightly stiffer, starchier finish, giving the fabric some added body. This fabric features a classic gingham design in dark navy and eggshell. Midweight, it holds structure beautifully. It's completely opaque, and with the longevity that yarn-dyed fabric provides. Classic Gingham will make into stand out shirts, dresses, summer pants and skirts, as well as stunning homeware.
