Issey is a lovely midweight boiled wool. A tight knit weave, it has a tactile brushed finish. With plenty of body it has structured drape and this merino wool s softer than your typical boiled wool. It has a fine finish, and being boiled is also moisture-wicking, and odour-free. With subtle mechanical stretch giving it natural give, it's ideal for unlined draped jackets, cardigans, wrap coats, trans-seasonal layering pieces, or babywear.
Boiled wool is a Drapers' favourite. Due to its production process, it doesn't fray and is excellent for projects with unfinished seams. The perfect, cut & sew fabric for beginners!

Care: We recommend gentle warm hand-wash, but it can be washed in a delicate cold wash cycle with wool wash liquid. Never wash in hot water as this will shock the wool fibres and shrink the fabric.
