This week we’re talking with Gloria, our Newtown store angel. If you’ve ever visited us in Sydney and have been lucky enough to meet Gloria, you’ll know that you’ll always leave Drapers with an extra piece of fabric or sewing knowledge, and a wide smile to match hers.
We asked Gloria a few questions about herself, see her responses below;

In Sydney, I love the designers behind Pach Project and Speed and Ramp Tramp Tramp Stamp!
When you're not at Drapers, what are you usually up to?
I am at the shops buying things to cook a big dinner with. I like eating and cooking for friends - food tastes better when it's shared.
What makes Drapers Sydney so special?
Our dream team! I love coming in to work and getting to hang out with Georgina and Savannah <3
Your favourite fabric in store right now?
I always love the Japanese shirtings, but right now on my To Buy list is Anni printed cotton in Blossom and Troppo wool suiting Charcoal.
You've just made an incredible Bresso shirt, what's on the cards for your next project?
I've been making hats! I am following a tulip hat pattern I found online and I'm also converting a bucket hat pattern to a different design. It's a good way to use up scrap fabric.
